The Beam smoke detector is a device which analyses the laser generated by a transmitter to detect the smoke. The beam can be Reflective (both the transmitter and receiver are located into the same box which is pointing to a receptor) or End-to-End (the transmitter and receiver are located into two separate boxes.

Using this technology, one single detector can cover a large range, up to 120 meters, which makes this detector ideal for large open areas such as hotel lobbies, warehouses, airport terminals etc.
